Freshman (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in five meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… Set a personal best in the 5,000 meter distance at Hillsdale’s Gina Relays with a time of 16:15.02.

High School: Graduated from East Jordan High School in East Jordan, Mich. in 2020… Competed in the Lake Michigan Conference and was coached by Matt Peterson… Set a personal record in the 5k distance with a time of 16:47 as a senior… Ran a personal-best time of 10:10 in the 3200-meter distance as a junior… Posted a personal-best time of 4:53 in the 1600-meter distance race as a junior... Recorded a personal-best time of 2:06 in the 800-meter distance as a junior… Received All-Region honors in four consecutive seasons… Earned All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2017, and All-Conference honors in 2018 and 2019… Received All-State honors in 2018 and 2019… Named Academic All-State in 2017-20… Member of East Jordan’s Cross Country Regional Championship team in 2017, 2018, and 2019… Team placed sixth at states in 2017 and third in both 2018 and 2019… East Jordan’s team received Academic All-State Second Place in 2017 and Academic All-State First Place in 2018.

Personal: Son of Paul and Liz Nachazel… Has a twin brother, Aaron, who is also a member of the LSSU Cross Country/Track & Field team… Father was on the track & field team at the University of Michigan as a javelin thrower… Involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, Youth Group, Quizbowl, and BPA… Hobbies include spending time outdoors, watching movies and spending time with family... Majoring in elementary special education.
