Freshman (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in five meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… Recorded a personal best time of 4:16.41 in the 1,500 meter distance at Hillsdale’s Gina Relays… At the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet, set a personal record in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:09.02.

High School: Graduated from Perry High School in Perry, Mich. in 2020… Competed in the Greater Lansing Activities Conference and was coached by Carl Willits… Second Team All-Conference in the 3200 meter distance and 4x800 as a sophomore… As a junior, was league champion in the 3200 meter race, and was Second Team All-Conference in the 1600 meter distance… Named First Team All-Conference in cross country as a junior...Received All-State honors in cross country as a senior… League Champion in cross country as a senior… Named First Team All-Conference in cross country in 2019… Served as team captain as a senior… Awarded team MVP in 2019.

Personal: Son of Steve and Teresa O’Neill… Has one sister, Grace… Also played basketball and soccer in high school… Member of National Honor Socety for three years… Hobbies include playing the guitar and the drums… Majoring in criminal justice and business.
