Junior (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in five meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… At the Blizzard Buster, set personal records in the shot put with a throw of 11.66 meters and in the discus with a distance of 37.98 meters… Recorded a personal best in the hammer throw at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet with a 42.80 meter mark... Named to the 2021 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Team... Named to the 2021 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Team.

Sophomore (2019-20): Competed in five meets for the Lakers during the indoor season... Outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic... Threw a personal best of 11.28 meters in the shot put at the Hillsdale "Wide-Track" Classic... Set a personal record in the weight throw at the GVSU Tune Up with a length of 13.63 meters... Named to the 2019-20 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Excellence Team... Named to the 2020 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Excellence Team.

Freshman (2018-19): SVSU Holiday Open threw 9.07 meters in the weight throw and 9.50 meters in shot put...Threw a personal best of 10.54 in the weight throw at the SVSU Doug Hansen Open... At the 2019 Blizzard Buster threw a personal best in discuss with a length of 33.69 meters... At the 2019 GLIAC Championships threw a personal-best in hammer throw with a length of 32.77 meters.

High School: Graduated from Hartland high school in 2018...On the bowling team for four seasons...Threw a personal best of 122 meters in discus senior year.. Participated in the marching band for four years. 

Personal: Son of Bryan and Amy Howes...Has one sister, Hailey...Enjoys playing saxophone and bowling...Travelled to Poland twice.
