Preview: Laker Volleyball Set for Last Road Trip of Regular Season

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State University volleyball program is set to play two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) matches this weekend. For the first game on Friday, Oct. 28, the Lakers will face off against the Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers at the De Simone Arena at 6 p.m. Then, on the very next day, the Lakers will travel to Grand Valley State University and play at 4 p.m. in the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. 

The Rangers currently hold an overall record of 9-15, and in the previous meeting, the Lakers came away with a 3-0 victory in Bud Cooper Gymnasium. Reese Rossnagel currently leads the offense in kills (326), averaging 3.47 kills per set. Also, defensively, 6-foot-3 Lindsay Krznarich has been a force, and she is currently ranked second in the GLIAC in total blocks (84).

Meanwhile, Grand Valley is looking to regain momentum after falling in their previous two games to bring their overall record to 14-10, and they run a balanced attack with three different players eclipsing 200 kills.
