MARQUETTE, Mich. - Lake Superior State senior setter Emily Kalinowski (South Lyon, Mich.) has been named to the U.P. Open All-Tournament Team, as voted on by the coaches.

Kalinowski had a strong outing in her four games at the tournament, notching 117 assists on the weekend to push her past 1500 assists for her Laker career. She would also record 36 digs at the tournament on the defensive end, including a 33-assist, 16-dig double-double in a four-set match against Minnesota-Crookston. 

Kalinowski and the Lakers will return to action on Friday Sept. 8 when they travel to Missouri S&T for their second tournament of the season.
