SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich.— The Lake Superior State women's basketball team will head to Saginaw, Mich., Thursday evening (6 p.m.) for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference matchup with the Saginaw Valley State.

The Lakers are 0-6 overall this season with a 0-2 mark in the GLIAC. The Cardinals are 0-8, 0-2.

Lake Superior enters play averaging 59 points per game shooting 40.1 percent from the field. Saginaw Valley is averaging 56.1 points while shooting 33.8 percent.

Senior forward Tamara Novic leads LSSU offensively and on the glass averaging 12.2 points and seven rebounds per contest. Sophomore Claire Radtke and junior Courtney Jacobsen are averaging 10 and 9.4 points respectively.

Hannah Settingsgaard leads the Cardinals offense with 11.4 per game. Abby Duffy is posting 9.4.

After Thursday's matchup, the Lakers will head to Northwood as they continue league play against the Timberwolves (4-3, 1-1).

The Lakers return Home (Dec.16) as they host Ferris State (6-2, 1-1) at 1 p.m. inside Bud Cooper Gymnasium.
