Westcott Named CCHA Forward of the Week After Six-Point Weekend

 DEEPHAVEN, Minn. - Jared Westcott (Imperial, Mo.) has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Forward of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Westcott was able to put together an outstanding six-point weekend against Bowling Green with three points each night, including both a go-ahead goal in the second period as well as the game-winner in overtime on Saturday. With his game-winner on Saturday, Westcott has also taken sole possession of the national lead in goal-scoring with 12 on the season, and he is also now tied with Boston University's Macklin Celebrini for the national lead in points with 22. 

Westcott and the Lakers return to action on Friday, Nov. 24 when they travel to take on the St. Thomas Tommies with puck drop scheduled for 7:07 p.m. Central Standard TIme.
