BAY CITY, Mich. – Lake Superior State University sophomore golfer Marko Banic (Calgary, Alb.) was named Honorable Mention All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Banic helped lead his team to three top-three finishes this season, and he led his teammates on the individual leaderboard in six tournaments, including a strong performance at the GLIAC Championships in which he recorded a par or better on 31 out of 36 holes. He also secured a seventh place finish individually at the Flyer Intercollegiate Tournament in October, and he was able to medal at the Klash in Kentucky, shooting a consistent three over par in both rounds to finish in a tie for third place on the individual leaderboard.
