Laker Golf Names Rodenroth as Volunteer Assistant Coach

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Lake Superior State University men's and women's golf programs have named Chris Rodenroth as a volunteer assistant coach, as announced by Head Coach Tony Crisp on Thursday.

"It is has been my main focus over the past 4 years to continually grow our program," said Head Coach Tony Crisp. "I welcome Coach Rodenroth to our program as his knowledge and experience will continue to provide great value in the development of our student athletes both on and off the course."

Rodenworth brings 15 years of experience as a golf professional with him to the Lakers, including currently serving as a Professional Golf Association certified golf instructor at Tanglewood Marsh Golf Club in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

Rodenroth moved to the Soo in 2020 after working as a golf professional in Jupiter, Fla. with the South Florida PGA.

"I look forward to working with the men's and women's golf programs here at LSSU," said Rodenroth.

In addition to his service as a golf professional, Rodenworth also works as a sales consultant at Rodenroth Motors.
