SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State men's and women's golf teams will open the 2022 spring season this weekend at the Klash in Kentucky tournament in Perry Perk, Ky. hosted by the Southwest Golf Academy. The two-day tournament will take place on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27 at the Perry Park Golf Resort. 

The tournament will begin on Saturday morning with Round 1 tee times set for an 8:30 a.m./9:30 a.m. start. The second day of the tournament will open with an 8:30 a.m./9:30 a.m. shotgun start. The men's competition will be played on the White Tail and Buckskin courses and totals to a par 72. The women will compete on the Antlers course and the White Tail course, and will also be a par 72. 

The men's team will be represented by junior Callum McKay, senior Zander Park, freshman Alex Bratton, freshman Marko Banic, freshman Grant Baker, freshman Gabe Rathburn, and junor Collin Pajot. The women's team will be represented by senior Alyshia Suleman, junior Julia Vess, sophomore Marie Mathieu, and freshman Jesse Hellebuyck.
