Men's Basketball Game Against Northwood Cancelled

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State men's basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. against the Northwood University Timberwolves has been cancelled due to positive COVID-19 results within the Northwood basketball program. 

Due to privacy laws, no further information will be released.

The Lakers will now advance to the GLIAC Quarterfinals and will await the results of the No. 10 Saginaw Valley State vs. No. 7 Parkside game to find out their opponent. The GLIAC Men's Basketball Tournament will take place in Hammond, Ind. on the campus of Purdue Northwest.

Due to GLIAC and Lake Superior State University mandates, fans are not currently permitted to attend any Laker sporting events. Even though spectators cannot currently attend Laker home games, there are still a number of ways that fans will be able to follow the game action.
