KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Senior guard Akaemji Williams has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-District Team.

The Pontiac, Mich., native represents the Midwest Region Second-Team along with Brent Bach (Bellarmine), Drew Cushingberry (Ferris State), Martyce Kimbrough (Findlay) and Alex Stein.

Williams, who averaged 18.5 points per game and 6.9 assists during his senior campaign, leaves the Lake State program as the all-time leader in assists (726) and is No.2 on the all-time scoring list with 2,010 career points.

As a team the Lakers, finished the season as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner-Up with a 25-8 record making it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
