Corbett enters her first season as the Head Athletic Trainer at LSSU in 2023-24.

Corbett has been working with the athletic training staff at Arizona State University (ASU), dating back to 2018 when she arrived as a graduate assistant. While earning her master’s degree in education at ASU, she was primarily assigned to the women’s triathlon, which won two national championships in that span, and women’s water polo programs. With ASU hosting the 2018 and 2019 Triathlon National Championships, Corbett would assist with coordinating care for all participating collegiate competitors whiles collaborating with the USA Triathlon race committee. In addition to her primary assignments, she also provided additional practice and competition coverage for men’s and women’s swim and dive, women’s lacrosse, men’s ice hockey, and also served as the football visiting team game day liaison.

Upon completion of her masters’ degree program, Corbett remained at ASU as an intern athletic trainer, and she had the opportunity to work collaboratively with conference leadership to ensure compliance with all COVID-19 policies and testing procedures in order to host the 2021 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women’s Water Polo Championships.

She would then have the intern tag removed as she was fully hired on as an assistant athletic trainer at ASU in July 2021 with the primary assignments of women’s soccer and beach volleyball while also assisting with clinical management with women’s lacrosse, wrestling, basketball, and home football games.

Prior to ASU, Corbett served as the assistant athletic trainer at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Canton where her primary assignments were women’s ice hockey, men’s soccer, and men’s lacrosse.

Corbett received a bachelor’s of science in athletic training from SUNY Cortland in 2016 where she was also a four-year starter for the school’s varsity women’s ice hockey program.
