SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – 35 Lake Superior State (LSSU) student-athletes received Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic honors with 17 earning Academic Excellence, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season and cannot be a freshman or a first-year transfer student. GLIAC All-Academic teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet the criteria as well as maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49 while GLIAC Academic Excellence teams require a cumulative GPA of 3.5-4.0.
