SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – Save the date! Great Lake State Weekend (GLSW) has been scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 13, as announced by the university on Tuesday. The Lake Superior State (LSSU) hockey program will host the Seawolves of Alaska Anchorage for a two-game series as part of the homecoming festivities.
The Lakers are 16-8-2 in the all-time series against the Seawolves with the two programs last facing each other in the 2019-20 season as members of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). LSSU went on to win the four-game regular season series that season 2-1-1.
GLSW began in 1995 and is LSSU's Homecoming Weekend for students, alumni, families, and the Sault Ste. Marie community.
