BAY CITY, Mich. – 37 Lake Superior State University student-athletes received Winter Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) academic honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, including ten honorees for men's basketball, the most among all GLIAC men's basketball programs.
Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first-year transfer student. GLIAC All-Academic teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet the criteria as well as maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49 while GLIAC Academic Excellence teams require a cumulative GPA of 3.5-4.0.
