SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – Lake Superior State University will be honoring all active, retired, and reservists of all branches of the military during the upcoming weekend's hockey games against Northern Michigan University on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5, and all active, retired, and reservists of all branches of the military will be offered a discounted ticket price of $14 when showing their ID at the ticket window on game nights, and a family ticket package for military families will be $32 (2 adults and 3 children). In addition, the discounted price will also be honored for any Canadian service members and their family.
Each intermission over the weekend will be used to express our gratitude to past and present service members and their families for the many sacrifices they have made.
As a former military base, LSSU has an inherent connection with the armed forces, and the university has been recognized by the Michigan Veterans Association as a Gold-Level Veteran-Friendly School.
