SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. — The Lake Superior State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is hosting the fifth annual Swishes for Wishes tournament on April 7 at the LSSU Norris Center.
Swishes for Wishes, a three-on-three basketball tournament, is hosted by LSSU SAAC each year to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in conjunction with the National SAAC's partnership with the organization.
"Over the past four years, we have raised over $15,000 to help create fun experiences for children battling critical illnesses. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Lake Superior State University is excited to be in the position to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation," said Claire Radtke, SAAC Vice President and women's basketball student-athlete.
Registration is now open and details on registration can be found here. Registration forms must be received by March 31. Registration cost is a donation, with the average donation being $20-$25 per person. This year's age brackets are: 9-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-18 and 18+.
