Freshman (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in five meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… At the Blizzard Buster, set a personal record in the 1500 meter race with a time of 4:45.93… Recorded a personal best in the 800 meter run at Hillsdale’s Gina Relays with a time of 2:08.08.

High School: Graduated from East Jordan High School in East Jordan, Mich. in 2020… Competed in the Lake Michigan Conference and was coached by Matt Peterson… Set a personal record in the 5k distance with a time of 17:15 as a senior… Posted a personal-best time of 4:56 in the 1600-meter distance race as a senior... Ran a personal-best time of 10:38 in the 3200-meter distance as a junior... Was named All-Region in 4x800 Track as a freshman… Received All-Region Cross Country and All-Region 3200m honors as a sophomore… Was 20th Place Academic All-State as a sophomore… As a junior, earned Fourth Place Academic All-State… Received All-Region Cross Country as a junior… Was an All-Region and State Qualifier in the 3200-meter race and 4x800 as a junior… Earned Second Place Academic All-State as a senior… Received Second Team All-Conference honors as a senior as well as All-Region Cross Country honors… Was an SMR indoor qualifier as a senior… Member of East Jordan’s Cross Country Regional Championship team in 2017, 2018, and 2019… Team placed sixth at states in 2017 and third in both 2018 and 2019… 4x800 Regional Runner Up/State Ninth Place in 2019… East Jordan’s team received Academic All-State Second Place in 2017 and Academic All-State First Place in 2018.

Personal: Son of Paul and Liz Nachazel… Has a twin brother, Ethan, who is also a member of the LSSU Cross Country/Track & Field team… Father was on the track & field team at the University of Michigan as a javelin thrower… Involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, SAFE Drug Prevention Coalition, Quizbowl, and BPA... Majoring in mathematics/secondary education.
