SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich — The Lake Superior State men's and womens golf teams are set to compete in the 2019 GLIAC Championships at Gull Lake Golf Cub and Resort in Augusta, Michigan this weekend.

On Friday, the men tee off at 9 a.m. at the Bedford Valley course and the women tee off at 1 p.m. at the Stonehedge North course. On Saturday, the women tee off at 9 a.m. and the men tee off at 1 p.m. The semifinals and finals of head-to-head medal play will begin at 8:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., respectively, on Sunday.  

The last time the Laker men hit the links was at the Parkside Spring Invitational in Columbus, Indiana. Sophomore Nick Oosterhof shot a team-best 152 (79,73) and tied for 29th place. Behind Oosterhof was sophomore Ryan Page, who tied for 34th place with a score of 153 (77,76). 

The women's team last competed at the Perry Park Spring Fling in Perry Park, Kentucky. The Lakers were led by senior Tatiana Hulan (79, 89) and sophomore Madison Wilkie (84, 84) who finished tied for 55th with a two-round score of 168.

The 2019 GLIAC Golf Championships are three-round events with a team cut after the second round on Saturday. Saturday's live stats are available here for the women's championship and here for the men's championship.
