Cross Country Competes in the Lewis Crossover

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Lake Superior State men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Fifth Annual Lewis Crossover Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12 in Romeoville, Ill. The women's team took part in the 6,000-meter distance while the men's team ran in the 8,000-meter distance. 

Men's Results:

David Mitter - 24th overall (25:58.9)

Kendal Delpiere - 198th overall (28:35.0)

Peter Shambaugh - 201st overall (28:46.6)

Daniel Anderson - 223rd overall (32:18.8)

Eric Somsky - 226th overall (35:16.4)

Andrew Giddens - 228th overall (36:49.4)

 

Women's Results:

Rebecca Lathrop - 183rd overall (25:42.6)

Alexis Passino - 210th overall (26:26.6)

Emily Merten - 239th overall (29:14.0)

Caitlyn Schumann - 240th overall (29:24.8)

Leah Bell - 241st overall (29:45.5)

Melody Perrin - 244th overall (31:07.4)

 

Up Next: The Lakers will have a week off before heading to Hammond, Ind. for the 2019 GLIAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Purdue Northwest University. Race times have not yet been determined.
