Lakers Place 7th in the Northwood Invitational

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Lake Superior State men's golf team placed seventh in the Northwood Invitational hosted by Northwood University at the Midland Country Club on Sunday, Oct. 6 and Monday, Oct. 7. The Lakers posted a combined total score of 922. 

The Lakers five man team in the tournament consisted of junior Nick Oosterhof, junior Ryan Page, freshman Callum McKay, junior Isaac Lennox and freshman Jace Carlisle. McKay led the Lakers with a total score of 224 (73, 75,76) and tied for 15th overall among all golfers. Oosterhof ranked behind McKay to post the second highest total score on the team with a 232 (77-77-78). Page had a total score of 233 (81-75-77), Lennox totaled a 233 (79-75-84), and Carlisle finished with a 240 (77-75-87).

Up Next: 

The Lakers will travel to Dearborn, Mich. to continue their GLIAC play on Sunday, Oct. 13 and Monday, Oct. 14 at the Motor City Invitational hosted by Wayne State University. The match will be played at TPC Michigan which was designed by Jack Nickalus. Tee times are TBA.
