Sophomore (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in four meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… At the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet, recorded personal bests in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.52 and in the long jump with a distance of 6.31 meters... Named to the 2021 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Team... Named to the 2021 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Team.

Freshman (2019-20): Competed in six meets for the Lakers during the indoor season... Outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic... At the SVSU Holiday Open & Multis, set a personal record in the long jump with a distance of 6.04 meters... Ran a personal-best time of 7.59 in the 60-meter dash at the Hillsdale "Wide-Track" Classic... Named to the 2019-20 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Team... Named to the 2020 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Team.

High School: Graduated from Lakeview High School in Lakeview, Mich. in 2018... Coached by his father, Mark Nichols... Named All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2017, All Conference in 2018, State Qualifier in 2018, First-Team All-Area and Team Captain... Also played varsity soccer for four years... Member of Class Council for four years as well as National Honor Society and Ski Club.

Personal: Son of Mark and Tonya Nichols... Has one brother, Jerico and one sister, Kristen... Majoring in kinesiology.
