Collegiate Results

Freshman (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in three meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… Set a personal best time of 6:29.73 in the 1500 meter run at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet.

High School: Graduated from Mancelona High School in Mancelona, Mich. in 2020… Competed in the Ski Valley Conference and was coached by Jessica Avery-Helwing (Track) and Kurt Dingman (XC)... Was a four year member of the cross country team as well as the track team… As a junior, set personal records in the 400-meter race (1:05.56), 800-meter distance (2:36.32) and 1600-meter distance (5:32.66)... Named to the Cross Country Dream Team in 2020 and was named her team’s MVP during her senior year… Received first team all-conference honors in cross country as a senior and second team all-conference honors as a junior… Was named first team all-conference in track and field as a junior and senior… Track & field conference champion as a junior in the 1600-meter distance, and in the 1600-meter and 800-meter distance as a senior. 

Personal: Daughter of Todd and Brianna Newbould… Has one brother, Jake, and two sisters, Haley and Abby… Also played four years of basketball in high school… Was a member of National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society in high school… Hobbies include playing guitar, writing music and drawing... Majoring in criminal justice.
