Junior (2021): Indoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic… Competed in six meets for the Lakers during the outdoor season… Set a personal record in the 400 meter hurdles at the GVSU Al Owens Classic with a time of 57.39… At the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet, recorded a personal best time of 14.96 in the 110 meter hurdles event… Competed in the 110 meter hurdles, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay at the 2021 GLIAC Championships… Placed seventh in the 110 meter hurdles race to earn two points for the Lakers… Was a member of the 4x100 Relay team that earned five points at GLIAC Championships with a fourth place finish.
Sophomore (2019-20): Competed in six meets for the Lakers during the indoor season... Outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic... Set a personal record in the 60-meter hurdles at GLIACs with a time of 8.71 to finish in 12th place... Placed eighth in the 4x400 race at GLIACs with Tom Hanke, Riley Traver and Eric Somsky with a time of 3:34.54... Placed eighth in the Distance Medley Relay at GLIACs with Kevin Garland, Tom Hanke, and David Mitter with a time of 11:05.17.
Freshman (2018-19): Ran three events in the SVSU Doug Hanson Open, in the 4X400-meter relay, the relay team ran a 3:31.46 placing 6th... In the 60-meter hurdles, ran a 8.82 which is a personal best...Ran a personal-best time of 8.77 in the 60-meter hurdles at the GLIAC Indoor Championships.
High School: Graduated from Cadillac High School in 2018...ran track, played football and basketball for four seasons...In track was coached by the highly respected, Todd Baker...Was named the All Area Dream team, team captain and Hurdler of the year in 2018.
Personal: Son of Rich and Julie Giddens... Has one sister, Bailey... Majoring in Secondary Education.
