Collegiate Results

Senior (2019-20): Competed in four meets for the Lakers during the indoor season... Outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic... Competed for the Lakers in the men's heptathlon at the GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, placing fifth with 3869 points to earn the men's team four points... Finished first among the heptathletes in the high jump and pole vault... Named to the 2019-20 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Team... Named to the 2020 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Team.

Junior (2018-19): During the SVSU Holiday Open and Multis placed 4th in the men's heptathlon...At SVSU Jets Pizza Invitational placed 2nd in the men's hepthathlon. 

Sophomore (2017-18): Competed in all four indoor track events...Placed 7th at the 2018 GLIAC Indoor Championships (Pole Vault)...Broke an outdoor school record in pole vault with a height of 4.70 meters at the Outdoor GLIAC Championships.

Freshman (2016-17): Competed in both indoor and outdoor seasons...2017 GLIAC Indoor Championships (Heptathlon)...Placed 5th at 2017 GLIAC Outdoor Championships (Decathlon)

High School: A four-year letterwinner at Gladwin High School...Jack Pine Conference Multi Event Athlete of the meet...2016 First team all-conference Pole vault...2015 8^th place MHSSA LP Division 3 finals (states)....High school pole vault record 2016 14’ 2”.

Personal: Son of Marty and Joannie Willford...Has two brother, Calvin and Elliot and one sister, Mallory...Majoring in Fisheries Wildlife Management.
