Junior (2019-20): Did not compete for the Lakers during the indoor season... Outdoor season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic... Named to the 2019-20 GLIAC Winter All-Academic Excellence Team... Named to the 2020 GLIAC Spring All-Academic Excellence Team.

Sophomore (2018-19): Competed in the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and ran a personal best in the mile with a time of 4:33.31...In cross country ran a personal best in the 10K at the NCAA Division 2 Midwest Region Cross Country Invitational with a time of 10:16.39.

Freshman (2017-18): Competed in every fall cross county and indoor track event.

High School: Achieved all-state recognition in track at Ann Arbor (Mich.) Pioneer High School under coach Don Sleeman...A 2017 graduate ...Named to the 2015 All-South Eastern Conference Cross Country team...Was a captain for both the cross country and track teams his senior season...Clocked personal best times of 52.2 in the 400 meters, 1:56.0 in the 800 meters, and 4:27.0 in the 1,600 meters...All-State in the 4x800 relay...Competed in the New Balance Nationals placing 17th in the 4X800 relay...Played soccer his freshman year.

Personal: Son of Roger and Karen Shambaugh...Born in Ann Arbor, Mich...Has an older brother (Evan Shambaugh), who's a member of the Olivet (Mich.) College men's soccer team and a younger sister...Interests are mountain biking and fishing...A criminal justice major.
