McCready enters her second year as the Lake Superior State Faculty Athletics Representative in 2023-24, and she currently serves as an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Lukenda School of Business at LSSU as well as the Interim Dean for the College of Innovation and Solutions.
Prior to teaching at the Lukenda School of Business, Professor McCready gained significant experience in the public accounting field. She worked for SMART Business Advisory and Consulting, LLC in Chicago, Ill. from 2008-09 where she was a Tax Senior Accountant. She was also an Audit and Tax Senior Accountant at Dennis, Gartland, and Niergarth in Traverse City, Mich. from 2000-06.
