Preview: Laker Volleyball Set to Wrap Up Four-Game Homestand Over the Weekend

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State University volleyball program is set to play two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) matches this weekend to wrap up their four-game homestand in Bud Cooper Gymnasium against the Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. and the Grand Valley State Lakers on the very next day.

The Rangers have an overall record of 7-10 and are currently riding a four-match losing streak. They will take on the Davenport Panthers on Friday before making the trip north to the Soo. Reese Rossnagel leads her team in kills with just under 200 on the season, averaging 3.00 kills per set. 

Grand Valley on the other hand, boasts an overall record of 12-5, and they will host Ferris State the day prior to the matchup between both Laker squads. Jordyn Gates, with over 311 assists, runs a balanced offense, and Kendall Stover is often the recipient with over 147 kills for an average of 2.72 kills per set.
