DETROIT, Mich. - The Lake Superior State women's volleyball team dropped a match to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponent, Wayne State, in three sets on Saturday, Oct. 5 in an afternoon road game in Detroit, Mich. The Lakers overall record falls to 4-11 following the game and 1-6 in GLIAC competition. 

First Set: Warriors won, 26-24

Second Set: Warriors won, 25 -23

Third Set: Warriors won, 25-10

The Lakers will return home for games a set of home games next weekend against Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday, Oct. 11 at 4:00 p.m. and Purdue-Northwest on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 2:00 p.m. Both games will take place during Great Lake State Weekend in the Bud Cooper Gymnasium.
