NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Lake Superior State fell to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent Walsh University in three-straight sets on Friday evening.The Lakers (0-17, 0-10 GLIAC) fell to the Cavaliers in a close oppening set 25-22, before dropping the final sets 25-12 and 25-11.
Brooke Williams led the attack for the Lakers with nine kills on 25 attacks.Williams also produced three block-assists.
Janelle Nagy produced a team-high 11 assists for the Lakers and also collected eight kills during the match. Nagy tallied 7 digs as well.
The Lakers produced 29 errors as a team, while Walsh limited their miscues to just nine during the match.
The Lakers will travel to Malone to face the Pioneers at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.
