Jones receives All-GLIAC Honorable Mention

SAULT STE. MARIE - Lake Superior State junior Ali Jones received All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention in volleyball.

Jones, from Fruitport, Mich., led LSSU in kills with 194 and aces with 27, and was third in digs with 131 this season. During her three seasons with LSSU, Jones totaled 616 kills and 492 digs.

Grand Valley State's Danielle Alexander was named GLIAC Player of the Year. Ashlee Crowder of Hillsdale earned Freshman of the Year, and Wayne State's Mayssa Bazzi received Libero of the Year. Grand Valley State coach Deanne Scanlon received the Coach of the Year award.
