Three Lakers Awarded All-GLIAC Honors

MIDLAND, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2018 Women's Tennis All-GLIAC teams at the GLIAC Tournament this past weekend. Three LSSU women's tennis players received these honors - AlexiAnn Drouin, All-GLIAC First Team; Nadege Koua, All-GLIAC Second Team; and Tara Harvey, All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

AlexiAnn Drouin is in her sophomore season with the Lakers, hailing from St. Georges, Quebec. She was the GLIAC Tennis Player of the Year last season after an exceptional freshman campaign. This season, she posted a 6-3 record throughout the regular season at No. 2 doubles, and a 6-3 record at No. 1 singles.

Nadege Koua, from Laval, Quebec, is a freshman. Her record at No. 1 doubles was 5-4 this season, and she went 5-4 at No. 2 singles.

Tara Harvey is a senior from Duns, Scotland. At No. 1 doubles, paired with Nadege Koua, she went 5-4 during regular season action this year. Harvey went 4-5 at No. 3 singles.
