MIDLAND - Lake Superior State women's tennis fell to Northwood 9-0 to cap their weekend road trip. The Lakers were held without a victory for the second-straight match after falling to Saginaw Valley State 9-0 on Saturday.
Freshman Tara Harvey came the closest to earning a victory for the Lakers but fell to Alisa Reshetnikova 6-4, 6-3 in No. 2 singles.
Senior Sarah Awe was also outdueled in her No. 1 singles match against Carol Arnez-Mercado 6-2, 6-3.
The Lakers continue the search for their first team-victory Friday on the road at Davenport.
