Women's tennis team splits decisions at Houghton

HOUGHTON - The Lake Superior State women's team lost a 5-4 non-conference match to Michigan Tech and defeated Minnesota-Duluth 5-4 on Saturday at MTU.

Adrienne DiVito and Carolyn Pumford were both 2-0 in singles play. The Lakers had to forfeit two matches against UM-D due to Gaby Juan-Alladio's injury during the match against Michigan Tech.

The Lakers are playing a short spring season, including a week-long spring-break trip to Orlando, Fla.
