Tennis teams split matches against Martin Methodist
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team improved to 8-10 after beating Martin Methodist 8-1 on Sunday, while the LSSU men's team fell to 3-2 after getting shut out, 9-0.
Gaby Juan-Alladio, Carolyn Pumford and Erin Wiethoff at Nos. 4, 5 and 6 singles secured their wins with tie-breaker victories.
Both LSSU teams play Florida Southern on Monday. The Laker women are also scheduled to play a non-conference match against Grand Valley State.
