Title: Assistant Coach
Previous College: University of Oklahoma '15
Position: Assistant Coach

Williams joins head coach Lori Shimasaki's staff along with assistant coach Nicole Stein following an outstanding collegiate career with the NCAA Division I Oklahoma Sooners.

"I am very happy to have Brittany on board. She will bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the game that will increase our standard in this program," said Shimasaki of adding Williams to the staff.

Prior to joining the Lakers, Williams was a student assistant coach for her alma mater while finishing her Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies. Some of her duties as an assistant included scouting and film work, batting and pitching practice, as well as conducting team activities for non-travelers.

Williams also appeared in 241 games for the Sooners during her collegiate career, hitting a career batting average of .318 with 39 home runs and drove in 162 runs during her career. In 2013 Williams was a member of the NCAA Division I national championship team. In the OU records she ranks third in career walks (fifth in Big 12 history), seventh in on-base percentage, ninth in home runs and tenth in RBI.

"Brittany has competed at the highest level throughout her career and has come from a well-respected program at Oklahoma. Being a part of the 2013 national championship team, she will carry on this discipline here at Lake Superior State." said Shimasaki
