SAULT STE. MARIE - The Lake Superior State softball team's annual season kick-off spaghetti supper is 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Bud Cooper Gymnasium.
The meal, sponsored by Central Savings Bank and the LSSU Alumni Associatiion, includes pasta, lasagna, breadsticks, salad and dessert. Tickets are $10 per person.
The team's fund-raiser is designed to be a fun Valentine's Weekend date and festive prelude to the Lakers' hockey game against Bemidji State.
Tickets and carry-outs are available at the door. The LSSU softball team opens its season Feb. 27 at the Marquette Superdome Tournament hosted by Finlandia University. The Lakers play in The Spring Games in Clermont, Fla., beginning March 2.
