Lakers play seven games at GVSU fall tournament

ALLENDALE - Lake Superior State was 0-7 at the Grand Valley State fall tournament held Sept. 26-27.

The Lakers lost to Lewis 5-4 and 3-1, Grand Valley State 5-3, 5-0 and 10-1, Grand Rapids Community College 3-1, and Davenport 4-0.

LSSU's top hitters for the weekend were Lacey Knoop, who was 7-for-19 (.368) and Nicole Carstensen, who was 6-for-19 (.316). Amber Kern finished 5-for-19 (.263), and Samantha Periard was 2-for-8 (.375).
