Clinic to cover basics of pitching, hitting and position play
SAULT STE. MARIE - The 2009 Lake Superior State softball holiday clinic will be Dec. 28-30 at the Arbuckle Student Activity Center.
The clinic is open to girls ages 8-18. The cost is $20 per session or $45 for all three days. A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required. Clinic t-shirts are $5. Lunch will be provided on Dec. 29.
Monday, Dec. 28, 1-4 p.m. Beginning and advanced pitching Tuesday, Dec. 29, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hitting secrets, fielding basics, pitching strategies, catching basics, infield and outfield drills, offensive keys Wednesday, Dec. 30, 9 a.m. to noon Base running, bunting, pitching and catch, plus skills reviewMake checks payable to LSSU Softball.
