Laker Women's Golf Compete at NC4K Classic

GROVE CITY, Ohio - The Lake Superior State (LSSU) women's golf team competed at the NC4K Classic, hosted by Ohio Dominican University, on Monday and Tuesday.

Keira Cotter (Etobicoke, Ont.) had the top showing of the tournament for the Lakers, improving by 11 strokes in the second round on her way to a two-day total of 169 (90, 79). Jesse Hellebuyck (Almont, Mich.) would then finish with a final score of 176 (88, 88) while Lekisha Sasithara (Shah Alam, Malaysia) was not far behind with a two-round total of 177 (90, 87). Mackenzie Davidson (Montague, Mich.) finished fourth among her teammates after using a six-shot improvement to climb four spots on the individual leaderboard, completing all 36 holes in 178 strokes (92, 86). Marie Mathieu (Marshall, Mich.) and Natalie Kellogg would then round out the lineup for the Lakers with respective totals of 182 (92, 90) and 189 (91, 98).
