SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior women's golf team will return to competition in the Blue Devil Classic at Lawrence Tech in Gaylord, Mich on Monday, Sept. 23 and Tuesday, Sept. 24, after a record breaking performance by the collective efforts of the women's team on Sept 14-15.

 Finishing the two rounds of play with a score of 306, the Lakers went back-to-back days of breaking records. On the first day Sept. 14, the Lakers broke the previous combined team score of 310 breaking the record by four strokes. Following that up, the lakers then broke their own record by shooting a 306 the very next day, Sept 15. Totaling a 616, the Lakers took home second place. 

The Lakers look to continue this success in the Blu eDevil Classic on Monday, Sept. 23 and Tuesday, Sept. 24.

Up Next 

The Lakers will travel to the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Ferris State in Big Rapids, Mich. This will start Conference play for the Lakers as they will compete at the historic Katke Golf Course.
