SAULT STE. Marie, Mich. - Grace Bradford (Maple City, Mich.) has been named both GLIAC Offensive and Defensive Women's Basketball Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Bradford paced the Lakers with a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double with her 15 boards leading all players to help lead her team to their first victory of the season at Illinois-Springfield. Late in the contest, the Prairie Stars were able to cut down the Lakers' lead to just a single point, but it was a pair of clutch baskets from Bradford that kept LSSU ahead for good. She was also able to force multiple Prairie Star turnovers and picked up a block on the defensive end of the floor as well.

This marks the first GLIAC weekly honors of Bradford's career.

Bradford and the Lakers are set to take on future GLIAC foe Roosevelt later this afternoon with tipoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
