Excited to get back to practice and clean up things heading into the regular season."

Malone University Pioneers- Canton, Ohio (Great Midwestern Athletic Conference; G-MAC)

This tournament will be the first action the Pioneers will have in the 2019-2020 season. Last season, the Pioneers were 15-14 including a loss to the Lakers on Nov. 10, 2018. The Pioneers will look to sophomore guard Robin Campbell who was the Pioneers leader in points and assists a season ago. Head Coach Roy Bogges is in his second year in the position. Bogges stated, ""This is going to be an exciting year for us. We implemented quite a few changes from last season and added a lot of talented new faces. I am looking forward to seeing what they are capable of once they fully gel."

University of Indianapolis Greyhounds (UIndy)- Indianapolis, Ind. (Great Lakes Valley Conference; GLVC)

Although the Lakers do not face the Greyhounds, they round out the four teams of the conference. UIndy went 11-17 in the 2018-2019 season.
