Nelson picks up second straight No. 4 singles victory

SAULT STE. MARIE - Lake Superior State freshman Robert Nelson won his No. 4 singles match, 6-3, 6-4, for the Lakers' lone victory on Sunday against Mercyhurst. Nelson finished 2-0 in singles for the weekend.

Mercyhurst (6-7 overall, 3-3 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) claimed an 8-1 team victory.

LSSU (7-11 overall, 1-5 GLIAC) closes out the regular season with a home match against Michigan Tech at 2 p.m. on April 12.
