Connor Milburn Named CCHA Forward of the Month

DEEPHAVEN, Minn. - Lake Superior State (LSSU) sophomore Connor Milburn (Kamloops, B.C.) has been named the March CCHA Forward of the Month after recording eight points in five games, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Milburn opened the month with a career-best three-point performance in the Lakers' regular season finale against Ferris State, scoring the opening goal before assisting on the following two. He would then go on to score in each game in the Lakers' three-game series victory at St. Thomas in the Mason Cup Quarterfinals to propel his team into the second round for the first time since LSSU's WCHA Tournament Championship in 2021. Milburn finished the month +4, won 49% of his face-offs, and demonstrated why he was named as a CCHA Co-Best Defensive Forward with 8 blocks as well.

This marks the first CCHA monthly honors of Milburn's career.
