Westcott Named a Finalist for CCHA Forward of the Year

DEEPHAVEN, Minn. - Jared Westcott (Imperial, Mo.) has been named as a finalist for the CCHA Forward of the Year, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Westcott finished the regular season leading the CCHA in points with 34 prior to scoring the game-winning goal in the Lakers' Friday night victory in game 1 of the Mason Cup Quarterfinals at St. Thomas. Westcott is a two-time CCHA Forward of the Week, two-time CCHA Forward of the Month, and he was also named Hockey Commissioner's Association Co-National Player of the Month in November.
