Langenegger Named CCHA Goaltender of the Week

DEEPHAVEN, Minn. - Senior goaltender Ethan Langenegger (Kamloops, B.C.) has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Goaltender of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Langenegger made 57 saves in the Lakers' weekend sweep over the Bemidji State Beavers for a save percentage of .934 and two wins between the pipes, including a pair of critical stops in overtime on Friday. On Saturday, he would go on to hold the Beavers to a single goal with the Lakers going on to win the game 5-1.

Langenegger's effort between the pipes allowed for the Lakers to come away with five points in the CCHA standings despite being outshot in four of six periods.

Langenegger and the Lakers return to action on Friday, Nov. 10 when they travel to Northern Michigan for game one of the 2023-24 Cappo Cup series with the first puck drop scheduled for 7:07 p.m.
