DEEPHAVEN, Minn. - Senior Jared Westcott (Imperial, Mo.) has been named the CCHA Forward of the Week after a 5-point weekend that included the first Laker hat trick since Dec. 2021.

Westcott opened the weekend by scoring a goal to get the Lakers on the board before later assisting on Harrison Roy's (Lakeville, Mass.) overtime game-winner in a 4-3 win at Clarkson. He would then follow up that performance with a hat trick that included a power-play game-winning goal in LSSU's 5-2 victory at St. Lawrence to complete the weekend sweep. Westcott finished the weekend with a team-best +6 +/- rating.

Westcott and the Lakers return to action on Friday, Nov. 3 when they open up CCHA play against Bemidji State in Taffy Abel Arena with the first puck drop scheduled for 7:07 p.m.
