Junior (2012-13): Ranked third in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and 10th nationally in overall save percentage at .930 and ranked 10th in the CCHA in overall goals-against average at 2.51...Finished the season ranked first at LSSU in career save percentage and tied for second in career goals-against average...Tied for second in LSSU single-season save percentage and ranked 10th in single-season save percentage...Was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week following his career-high 46-save performance during the 5-1 victory over Alaska (2/15)...Also totaled 46 saves during a 5-4 loss to No. 3 Miami (3/2)...Was also named CCHA Goaltender of the Week during the Nov. 2-3 series at Alaska...Stopped all 25 shots on goal during a 4-0 victory over Alabama-Huntsville (11/17) to record his first collegiate shutout...Also recorded shutouts against Miami (12/8) with 46 saves and Northern Michigan (3/2) with 35 saves.
Sophomore (2011-12): His first win as a Laker was a 20-save performance during a 2-1 home victory over Bemidji State (11/5)...Totaled a season-high 31 saves during a 3-1 loss at Ohio State (12/3)...Was the winning goalie after playing the final 31 minutes and recording 23 saves during a 4-3 exhibition victory over The U.S. National Team Development Program’s Under-18 team (2/3).
Prior to LSSU: Was 29-15-4 with a 2.91 goals-against average and .907 save percentage while playing for the Lincoln Stars in 2010-11...Ranked third in the United States Hockey League in games played at 52...Murdock played at Minnesota State-Mankato in 2009-10 and appeared in five games...He also played for Lincoln in 2007-08 and 2008-09.
